If you’re a Florida resident with a child eligible for K–12 public school and meet the income qualifications, you may be able to receive a scholarship worth an average of $7,800. This scholarship helps families choose a private school that aligns with their child's educational needs.

  • Individuals with Disabilities Education Act in Private Schools

    A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

  • Compliance with Florida Instructional Time & Attendance Requirements (Rule 6A-1.09512 FAC)

    Our school offers a program of instruction sufficient to allow students who maintain regular attendance to meet the minimum compulsory attendance requirements in State Board of Education Rule 6A-1.09512, Florida Administrative Code, of at least 170 actual school days and 540 net instructional hours for students in kindergarten, 720 net instructional hours for students in grades 1-3, and 900 net instructional hours for students in grades 4-12.

  • Physical Campus Attendance Compliance (Section 1002.421(1)(i), F.S.)

    The Learning Tree Academy maintains a physical location where each scholarship students regularly attend classes in accordance with section 1002.421(1)(i), F.S.

  • Florida Teacher Contact Requirement (Section 1002.421)

    Our school employs or contracts with teachers who have regular and direct contact with scholarship students at the school’s physical location as required by section 1002.421(1)(i), F.S. Their direct contact ensures that scholarship students receive consistent instruction and mentorship in accordance with state guidelines.

    Florida residents in grades K-12, who are eligible for enrollment in a K-12 public school, regardless of their family's income, can be eligible to receive a scholarship averaging $7,800. This scholarship assists them in attending a private school that aligns best with their educational needs.
